I want to know your views on using facebook as a learning tool? Do you think it is a good idea? Should ever school use facebook as a learning tool? Or are you against using facebook as a learning tool?

YES IT THINK IS A GOOD THING TO USE FACEBOOK AS A GOOD LEARNING TECHNIQUE, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT WOULD WORK OR HOW COULD WE USE IT BUT MY GUESS IS THAT WE WOULD FIGURE SOMETHING UP WITH THAT

I believe that teachers using face book will cause and effect on teens life, for example a lot of people post things about drugs and party's there going to and etc. But for teachers using face book will not give students any freedom with them, because they can read anything they post. So my opinion on teachers having a face book is a big no.

Yes in a way that it will help benefit students and teachers. It sounds like it will be a big help and a new and cool way that will attract more students. I think more schools should really look into this because it is very interesting and students can connect more with their teachers,work, and internet.

I think teachers using FaceBook for personal uses is fine, but to be using FaceBook as a means to communicate students is wrong. In my opinion, teachers shouldn't interact with students outside of school. They are your teachers, not your friends. They will know about your personal life, and you will know about their personal life. If a teacher wants to communicate with their students, they should make a FaceBook page that you can "like." That way the teachers don't know about your personal life, you don't know about their lives. You know what the teacher's post on their FaceBook "like" page and that will be all.

I think that teachers use facebook for the same reason as teens do. I use facebook to talk to family and friends that i can't talk over the phone either because its long distances or you don't have the time to talk.
